Red Bull X-Fighters 2010 – Ingo Walde – Designer, CG Generalist & Animation Director for Motion Design

I just finished my second really big red bull project at Aixsponza for this year and think it´s really time to publish the first one which I did in early 2010. It was a full CG movie for the Red Bull X-Fighters Tour 2010. I was responsible for 2 complete parts of the spot. The “globe” intro where all the tour dates and locations are shown and a second part, where the system of rules should be explained. For that part I had to design a concept and style to represent how the 12 riders get through the competition from the first round to the final. After the concept was proved by the client I start with the styleframes for both parts and did also camera, animation and most of the shading and lighting.
